Meet your providers:

Mario Lopez, MD, F.A.C.C.(center photo) began practicing as a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist after receiving the highest caliber medical training and education. For the last 35 years, Dr. Lopez has dedicated his life to Charlotte County residents by providing exceptional and compassionate care to every patient he’s come to know and love. In doing so, he has had the opportunity to save and touch countless lives. Although he has stepped away from interventional procedures, he remains dedicated to providing all your general cardiology needs with the ability to access any additional resources necessary.

Kristin Garcia-Miller AG-ACNP, B.C. (right photo) was born and raised here in Charlotte County. She graduated with honors from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2001 with her BSN. After 14 years of dedicated and multifaceted nursing, including emergency, trauma, ICU, maternal/child, and more, Kristin made the decision to move forward in her career by obtaining her dual certified Masters degree with honors in Adult Gerontology and Acute Care from University of South Florida. She has now specialized in Cardiology for nearly 8 years. 


Alexandra Kitchener AG-ACNP, BC.(left photo) was born in Germany. She moved to Charlotte County in 1981 at the age of 12. She always knew she wanted to be a nurse. Alex graduated from her first nursing program as an LPN in 1993. She has advanced her nursing degrees over the years while working and raising her four children in Charlotte County. She has spent the majority of her nursing career, over 20 years in ICU, providing high-quality compassionate care to her patients. While working in ICU, she decided to further her education and obtained her Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Grand Canyon University in 2019. She is Board-certified and she has specialized in Cardiology since graduation.
